Locally Grown Dance Series -SDSU faculty in choreography and they present fresh dance works that are modern and youthful. There was one lady at the end that was absolutely hilarious and she showed dance and the kitchen in her choreography. She was throwing Cheetos everywhere and yelling phrases throughout her performance that no one could understand. She was great.
Feb. 6 @ 7pm- Arts 111
Lux Boreal A Tijuana based dance group. They were the best dancers that I have seen, showing great rhythum and beats with their movement. For modern dance this will definetly keep you intrigued and interested throughout the whole performance. They used red tables as props and danced around them and over them throughout the whole performace. The music was very motivating also.http://www.luxboreal.com/

A San Diego Chamber Orchestra Artistic Director and Conductor showed us his inspiring ways to introduce and perform in front of an audience. The arts have a big inpact on the audience and how we perceive classical music. He makes things more modern and interesting for younger audiences. He was also very passionate about his line of work which made it very interesting to listen to him talk. He also discussed the pep talks that he gives his musicians and how to inspire them to make things more interesting and involved as a whole group.
