James Nachtwey, a photographer...then a war photographer. He took a lot of photographs that showed emotion, devastation, loss, struggle, starvation and determination. The image here shows a relic of civil war that became a monument in a park. The child playing on the tank makes it become lively.
The images that he shows of people suffering through starvation and the loss of limbs are painfully saddening and they are so misunderstood. He seems to be very passionate about showing his photography as a journalist in the digital era.
